YUN ER SOUP

INGREDIENTS

Huang jing, red jujube, kelp,tuckahoe, fructus citri, ginger, hawthorn berry, licorice, white hyacinth bean, black fungus.

HERBS & NUTRITION INFORMATION

  • [Huang Jing]:Benefiting Qi and nourishing yin, invigorating spleen for benefiting lung and benefits the kidneys.
  • [Fructus Citri]:Regulating Qi, relieving qi stagnation, and dissipating phlegm.
  • [Poria]:Commonly used to regulate water. Fu Ling dispels dampness and benefits the Heart and Spleen; therefore it is often added to tonic herbs to promote restored organ function.
  • [Hawthorn]:Relieves food stagnation and improves digestion, Dispels blood stasis, alleviates postpartum abdominal pain.

MEAL DESCRIPTION

  • Adequate intake of fungi foods, such as black fungus, mushrooms, enoki mush-rooms, matsutake, white fungus are good for your health. They not only provide extra iron, calcium, polysaccharides, triterpene, natural gum and other nutrients, but also promote metabolism, enhance physical strength and immunity.

INGREDIENTS

Beta vulgaris, gorgon, tuckahoe, huang jing, white pepper, ginkgo biloba, cumin, opposita, coix seed (Yi Zen), lotus seed.

  • [Sishen Soup]:Strengthen the spleen and digestive system, calms the nerves and improve poor appetite. (Gorgon, lotus seeds, opposita, and tuckahoe.)

MEAL DESCRIPTION

In order to maintain the physiological balance and normal function of the body, the recommended daily dietary intake of folic acid for breastfeeding mothers is about 500 micrograms. Folic acid also helps with the formation of red blood cells, nucleic acid and nucleoproteins, as well as normal fetal development and growth. Folic acid deficiency can lead to anemia, fatigue, neurasthenia symptoms indiges- tion or poor growth and development.

  • [Dried Longan]:Increase appetite, strengthens the spleen, nourishes the blood, calms the spirit, and tonifies weakness.
  • [Sterculia Lychnophora (Malva nut tree)]:Clears heat, moistens the lungs, soothes the throat, and promotes intestinal regularity.
  • [Black Bean]:Nourishes the liver and kidneys, supports eye health, enhances blood, and boosts the immune system.

MEAL DESCRIPTION

Iron contributes to normal formation of red blood cells, it constitutes an important component of hemoglobin and myoglobin, helping to transport and utilize oxygen. The recommended daily dietary intake of iron for an adult is 15mg from foods. Women who are breastfeeding require an additional 30mg of iron per day. Iron deficiency will affect the ability for the blood cells to transport oxygen and nutrients throughout the body; the body is prone to anemia, pale complexion, fatigue, lack of strength, weakened immunity, and can even affect memory and learning ability.
